My Thoughts
I - and I cannot stress this enough - absolutely adored this book. It was laugh out loud funny with wonderful world building and memorable characters. Fin is an absolute gem of a main character. I will admit, I don't read many books that have a male main character (nothing against men, I just tend to read more romance books and they typically have female main characters) so I wasn't sure what to expect, but I absolutely adored Fin. He is wonderfully witty but definitely stubborn and at times a bit rash.
I thought the story and powers were original and I crushed this book in maybe 2 days. This book 1 in a trilogy, and the entire series does not disappoint. While there is romance in the book, there is no smut. (Just like to call that out for my smut girlies out there ;) )
